кӯлмак: puddle

Ҳангоми вазидани боди суст ҳам кӯлмакҳо ва либос зуд хушк мешаванд.
When a soft wind blows the both the puddles and clothes dry quickly.
Кӯлмакҳои оби борони шабона боридагӣ медурахшиданд.
The puddles of rainwater from the evening rain glistened.

қабр: grave, tomb

Хеле барвақт дар рӯзи якуми ҳафта, чун офтоб баромад, онҳо ба сари қабр омаданд.
Very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb.
Мардуми Бухоро ҳар сол дар рӯзҳои аввали Наврӯз дар сари қабри Сиёвуш сурудҳои мотамӣ мехонанд.
Every year during the first days of Navruz the people of Bukhara sing mourning songs at the grave of Siyavush.

оташ

оташ: fire

Every tree that does not give good fruit will be cut and thrown in the fire.

гурда

гурда: kidney

Гурда узви начандон калон аст, ки ба лӯбиё шабоҳат дорад.
The kidney is an organ not so big that has the shape of a bean.
Гурда дар ду тарафи сутунмӯҳра баробари камар ҷой гирифта аст.
The kidneys are located on both sides of the spine at waist level.

дастархон

дастархон: tablecloth

Хизматгор дастархон овард.
The server brought a tablecloth.
Дар дастархон, албатта, сачоқчаҳои матоӣ ва коғазӣ гузошта мешаванд.
On the tablecloth, of course, cloth and paper napkins will be placed.

For Navruz Tajiks decorate the tablecloth with seven things beginning with the letter s. The word “син” is the Arabic letter “s”, or in Tajik “с”. ҷашн

ҷашн: celebration

Ҷашни Наврӯзи Тоҷикистон имсол рӯзҳои 21-24 март дар се шаҳр – Душанбе, Панҷакент ва Бохтар таҷлил мешавад.
This year the celebration of Navruz will be honoured (celebrated) from 21-24 March in three towns – Dushanbe, Panjakent and Bokhtar.
Наврӯз яке аз куҳантарин ҷашнҳои оғози соли нав дар ҷаҳон аст.
Navruz is one of the oldest celebrations of the beginning of the new year in the world.

In the second sentence, куҳантарин is an alternate spelling of куҳнатарин.

таркиб: composition

Bonus:
Notice that the second sentence in Tajik is in the singular, whereas in English it sounds better in the plural.

Words with the pattern TAccvc (c=consonant; v=vowel) are usually Arabic in origin. Often a related word can be found beginning with MY and having the same consonants.
