ҷигар

ҷигар: liver

Ҷигар ба системаи ҳозима дохил мешавад.
The liver is included in the digestive system.
Ҷигари гӯсфанд ё говро хуб тоза карда, калон-калон мебуранд.
The liver of sheep or cow is cleaned well, and cut into big pieces.

Bonus:
In Tajik the third person plural is often used in recipes, as the second sentence shows. If you want to translate it as written it would be “They clean the liver of sheep or cow well, and cut it into big pieces.”

ҷигарӣ, ҷигарранг: liver-coloured; maroon
ҷигарбирён: fried liver

This word is also used as an affectionate term for children or other close family and loved ones, as in “ҷигари ман”, “ҷону ҷигари ман”.

Суруди миллии Ҷумхурии Тоҷикистон 7 сентябри соли 1994, тасдиқ карда шудааст.
The national anthem of Tajikistan was approved on the 7th of September, 1994.
Суруди миллӣ яке аз рамзҳои давлатии Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон ба шумор меравад.
The national anthem is considered one of the symbols of the country of Tajikistan.

сарзамин

сарзамин: land, territory

Се солу шаш моҳ дар сарзамин борон набуд.
There was no rain on the land for three years and six months.
Тоҷикистон сарзамини кӯҳсор аст.
Tajikistan is a mountainous land.

Large eyed needles are used for embroidery.

In the second sentence, notice that the word театр doesn’t have the plural ending. In Tajik, when you have a list of plurals the plural ending (ҳо) only has to be on the last item in the list.

боғи ботаникӣ

боғи ботаникӣ: botanic garden

Дар шаҳрҳои калони Австралия боғҳои ботаникӣ мавҷданд.
In the big cities of Australia there are botanic gardens.
Дар боғи ботаникии шаҳри Душанбе садҳо дарахту буттаҳо аз тамоми гӯшаҳои ҷаҳон ҷамъ оварда шудаанд.
In the botanic garden of the city of Dushanbe hundreds of trees and bushes from every corner of the world have been gathered.

Bonus:
You can’t have the letter ӣ in the middle of a word. In the second sentence, there is added information after “боғи ботаникӣ”, that is, which botanic garden, the one in the city of Dushanbe. To connect that an extra и has to be added to the end of ботаникӣ, and the letter ӣ must also be changed to и.

In Tajikistan many people still use the Russian word for airport, аэропорт, instead of the Tajik word. It is good to know both.
