чаппа: upside-down

Нонро ба дастархон чаппа намегузоранд ва бо ду даст оҳиста мешикананд.
One must not put the bread on the table upside-down and must break it gently with two hands.
Мавҷҳои пурзӯр метавонанд киштиҳоро чаппа намоянд.
Strong waves can turn ships upside-down.

Bonus:
The first sentence uses third person plural (намегузоранд, мешикананд), but it is the equivalent in English of “one should”, or “one must”.

Чаппа can also mean back-to-front, inside-out and broken-down (as in a house).
